The Lost Wombat is looking for an enthusiastic Food Runner to join our team. As a Food Runner, you’ll be responsible for delivering food orders to guests in a timely manner. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the dining area and ensure that all orders are accurate and complete.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver food orders to guests in a timely, efficient and friendly manner

  2. Ensure all orders are accurate and complete before delivery

  3. Maintain cleanliness of dining area including tables, chairs, floors, garbage cans, etc.

  4. Assist with setting up and breaking down of tables

  5. Monitor food quality and presentation prior to serving

  6. Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions

  7. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

 Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a food runner or in a similar role preferred

  2. Ability to stand for long periods of time

  3. Excellent communication skills

  4. Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  5. Knowledge of health and safety regulations

  6. Ability to lift 50 lbs when needed
