Here’s how it works: simply visit any participating ABC permittee restaurants and bars and request a Downtown Social District cup. Purchase your favorite alcoholic beverage and savor it as you explore the lively streets of Downtown North Wilkesboro. Obviously the drinks at The Lost Wombat are our favorite!

The Lost Wombat Restaurant is proud to be a part of this exciting initiative. As you stroll through the district, be sure to stop by our restaurant for a delectable meal or refreshing drink. So many great shops welcome drinks like the Liberty Theatre, Hometown Collaborative, Pop’s Place, Fruit on the Vine, Whimsical Nook and many more throughout downtown North Wilkesboro.
Some local businesses do not accept beverages, you will see red stickers at their entrance. The Block Family Entertainment playground does not for example let families brings drinks inside, for obvious reasons. Beverages do not pair well with a trampoline park, roller skating, even if they do pair well with the aracde!

- Purchase your alcoholic beverage in the Downtown Social District cup at the Lost Wombat.
- Enjoy your beverage while you explore Downtown North Wilkesboro – look for participating businesses with a sticker near the front door!
- Be sure to dispose of your empty cup properly before exiting the Downtown Social District or entering a vehicle. Drink responsibly please!
